A growing number of our patients come from abroad. The collaboration between ENDOPROTHETICUM in Mainz and LILIUM-CLINIC in Wiesbaden offers you top-notch, highly professional treatment in all aspects of hip and knee arthroplasty.
There are numerous reasons why patients from abroad come to us for treatment: either there is a lack of good local medical care or the conditions are better in this country. In most cases, it is the standard of quality and high level of medical expertise that brings patients from all over the world to THE LILIUM-CLINIC.
We provide additional support to international patients treated at LILIUM-CLINIC, beyond medical care. Our staff speaks English fluently and can address your questions directly by phone or email. If needed, a dedicated contact person will assist you with your concerns and help plan your stay.

COMFORTABLE ENTRY INTO GERMANY
Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is not only the largest commercial airport in Germany, but is located less than 20 kilometers from the Lilium Clinic. The fastest connection is by taxi (about 13 minutes each way).

PRELIMINARY MEDICAL EXAMINATION
Prof. Kutzner will be happy to provide his services. Please contact the Endoprotheticum via phone call, email or WhatsApp message. Prof. Kutzner will check whether and how a treatment in the Lilium Clinic is medically meaningful. He will then draw up an optimal examination and treatment plan based on your medical records and we will send you this, including a cost estimate.

VISA
IF YOU REQUIRE A VISA, THE CLINIC, IN CONSULTATION WITH PROF. KUTZNER, WILL DRAW UP THE REQUIRED WRITTEN INVITATION FOR YOU AND SEND IT TO THE RELEVANT VISA OFFICE.
FOR THIS PURPOSE, THE CLINIC REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION FROM YOU AND EACH OF YOUR COMPANIONS:
– CORRECTLY SPELLED FIRST AND LAST NAME (SPELLING AS IN THE ID CARD)
– DATE OF BIRTH
– ID Number/Passport Number

The cultural and religious needs of our patients are taken into account in the Lilium Clinic - as far as this is possible in the medical context.
