By Train 

By train from Mainz main station to Mainz-Gonsenheim, line RB 31, trains towards Alzey (via Nieder-Olm) run once an hour.

(Attention: The fastest footpath (through an underpass) directly from Mainz-Gonsenheim station is not shown on the Google Maps map!)

From the train station, head towards REWE, before REWE take the small footpath to the right to a narrow pedestrian underpass. After the underpass, go up the stairs to the street 'Am Hemel'. Here, turn right and follow for about 3 minutes. The street curves, but instead of following the road, continue straight along the railway tracks. This pedestrian path ends in a cul-de-sac with a turning circle ('Zur Oberlache'). Continue straight and turn right at the next street, 'An der Fahrt'. HOUSE NUMBER 15.

By Bus 

Alternatively, you can take bus line 78 from Mainz Central Station or Mainz-West Central Station towards MAINZ-FINTHEN to Mainz-Gonsenheim. IT IS BEST TO GET OFF AT THE "AN DER OBERBRÜCKE" STOP. then cross the railway crossing into the industrial area. The street meets "An der Fahrt", turn left there. HOUSE NUMBER 15 (YOU CAN ALSO GET OFF AT GONSBERG-CAMPUS OR AT THE TRAIN STATION IN GONSENHEIM (WALKING DIRECTIONS SEE "BY TRAIN")).

Duration: Bus ride approximately 15 minutes, subsequent walking distance approximately 5 minutes.

By Taxi 

Taxi stands are available at Mainz main station at the West exit and North exit (main exit, then turn left). Please use the West exit. The taxi ride to Gonsenheim takes about 10 minutes and costs approximately 12 - 15 €.

By car

From Frankfurt/WIESBADEN

Take the A66 to A643 over the Schiersteiner Bridge to the Mainz triangle on the A 60 in the direction of Mainz-Finthen, KL, DA. Exit No. 19, Mainz-Finthen in the direction of Mainz-Saarstraße/Mainz city center. Follow Kurmainzstraße/L419 for a short distance and then take the next exit Mainz-Gonsenheim. Turn right in the direction of Mainz-Gonsenheim, onto Zwanzig-Morgen-Weg. At the entrance to Mainz-Gonsenheim, directly behind the town sign, TURN RIGHT over the railway crossing into the industrial area 'Am Hemel'. Turn left there into 'An der Fahrt'. HOUSE NUMBER 15.

From Darmstadt/Koblenz

Take the A60 to "Mainzer Ring", exit No. 19, Mainz-Finthen towards Mainz-Saarstraße/Mainz-Innenstadt. Follow Kurmainzstraße/L419 for a short distance and then take the next exit towards Mainz-Gonsenheim. Turn right towards Mainz-Gonsenheim onto Zwanzig-Morgen-Weg. At the entrance to Mainz-Gonsenheim, directly behind the town sign, turn RIGHT over the railway crossing into the industrial area "Am Hemel". Turn left into "An der Fahrt". HOUSE NUMBER 15.

From Kaiserslautern/Alzey

You come via the A63 onto the A60 ("Mainzer Ring") in the direction of Bingen/Koblenz, exit No. 19, Mainz-Saarstraße/Mainz-Innenstadt. Follow Kurmainzstraße/L419 and then take the next exit Mainz-Gonsenheim. Turn right towards Mainz-Gonsenheim, onto Zwanzig-Morgen-Weg. At the entrance to Mainz-Gonsenheim, directly behind the town sign, turn RIGHT over the railway crossing into the industrial area "Am Hemel". There, turn left into "An der Fahrt". HOUSE NUMBER 15.
